Since this is my very first NaNoWriMo, I've decided to just enjoy myself and follow the old Adams tradition of making my novel up as I go along, using whatever ridiculous ideas come into my head. If it could work for Douglas, it could work for us. XD
Hello, all. Since this is the lounge for Hitchhiker's Guide Researchers, I take it that at least some of you are visiting from www.h2g2.com? Over there, I'm known as Irving Washington.
I think I am more into the fantasy than sci-fi too. Much as I would love to write a sci-fi story. But most of mine have a healthy dose of humour so that's somewhat hitchhikery. Not up to the Adams standard, of course... :)
Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy Researchers' Lounge

Hey, froods. How is life?
(And if ONE person dares to say life, don't talk to me about life then I will..... laugh.)
Re: Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy Researchers' Lounge
Bleh. This must be Thursday. I could never get the hang of Thursdays.
Re: Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy Researchers' Lounge
How about if two people say it? How about if they sing it, in harmony?
Re: Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy Researchers' Lounge
Yo.

Re: Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy Researchers' Lounge
In case my sig quote didn't give it away, I loooves me some Hitchhikers.
Hey, man, is that a piece of fairy cake? My stomach's just completely out to lunch.
Re: Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy Researchers' Lounge
Anybody writing a Hitchhikers'ish story this year? I'm amazed and embarrassed sometimes about what an influence that book is on my NaNo!

Re: Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy Researchers' Lounge
I'll take a gin and tonic ;P
anyone else working on a scifi story too?
Re: Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy Researchers' Lounge
I've always wanted to write sci-fi.
I can never think of premises that don't sound really silly/morph into fantasy.
