Author bio:
i have been writing for as long as i can remember. short stories, novels about faraway places, poems, you name it. one of my earliest writing memories? typing out a story about a horse on our old macintosh computer, there in the kitchen with the white, green, and red wallpaper. writing is an outlet, it is a journey, it is a way to fully express the joy and beauty in life and love and everything else. these days i do most of my writing via my trusty macbook or with loopy handwriting in my paper journal.
i participated in the 2009 edition and won! that novel is still being written, but i am so close to the end. due to extenuating life circumstances, i started but did not finish in 2010. i am excited for the challenge that 2011 will bring... i am in a good place for this, and cannot wait to writewritewrite all month.
