I grew up on a farm, and have lived in DC for the past ten years. I have allowed my creativity to atrophy in the years since I got my literature degree (just a BA), and up until recently I was living the life of quiet desperation that we all dread . . . up until I saw Neil Gaiman speak at George Mason U to accept an award, and he inspired me to stop sucking at my life, and instead maybe write something.
Strange to always think of yourself of a writer, and rarely write anything anymore. I must do something. So with a deep breath, and more than a little desperation, into the breach we go! I have an idea, so now? for the plodding and wonderful process of writing.
