I've been writing since 1993. I've now experimented with steampunk/anachronistic fiction, supernatural fiction, poetry, songwriting, cartooning, comic writing (both comic book style and strips), and general sketching, specialising in penciling. My own muses, who I recognise individually as Blakely (with shades of Poe, Shakespeare, Tim Burton, and Stephen King; specialises in dark romance, tragedy, poisons, potions, dark magic, espionage and intrigue), Remus (with shades of Holmes, Danny Elfman, and Warren Zevon; specialises in subtle humour, romance, werewolves, chocolate, sensibilities, propriety, decorum, misunderstandings, and the love for the magic fantastic), and the occasional stop by of Artemius (who designs and crafts in the phyiscal mediums (knitting, crochet, needlepoint, haberdashery, stuffing) and Claudia (who does the visual arts, confirms colour schemes for Artie's crafts, drools over cover art and collects inspirational artwork) - all of whom keep me rather amused and busy. I've also RPGed for a very long time in forums, journals, Twitter, LARP and even table top. I am a geek, and have a love for dark, romantic tragedy (tragic unrequited love has a special place in my heart), irony, and the theatre of the absurd. I take inspiration from my muses and anything around me, and am madly in love with my own Belle (Twitter.com/AstuteLibrarian to my Twitter.com/AnotherMrGold) whose silliness helps keep me sane. I'm a young wage slave for your local chain of a corporate burger chain, and make what little extra money I can clowning and crafting on my own Etsy (LadySLupe13.Etsy.com) and scribble out my general frustrations with life in my webcomic, Sticks! (KMLsSticks.theComicSeries.com) -- there are t-shirts, and a list of other favourite webcomics, so please check it out. I have a couple novels in the works to publishing (ScriptFrenzy '09 & '11, NaNo '11 & '12), and several others buzzing about and waiting their turn to be written. I'm also designing my own Circus-themed Tarot deck, an exercise in learning the new medium, focusing the muse, and general circus-lore.
