Author bio:
Hallo. My name is... Well, it isn't Silverblown but I answer to it anyway so you might as well call me that. I like things of all types, including the colours blue and silver, well-put-together stories that should never have ended, chatting casually, discussing deep subjects, romance and art. However, the one thing that I have never liked was writing, the physical type of writing anyway (let's just say writing tools and I got off to a very bad start).
As a result, I never really embraced the idea of writing (translation: I don't ever remember taking one writing assignment for school seriously) and I'm pretty sure whatever I wind up with on the 1st of December, is going to be completely horrible. Even so, I'm still here with a goal, to interest myself in the art of writing, sew words together to tell a tale and learn what writing's really all about. Considering that I'm in the middle of a small *if you can call losing one's passion for their supposed future career, small* er... a small teen-life crisis... I'm in the middle of figuring lots of things out for myself, so in the mean time, I really don't have anything to do.
Thanks for reading this blurb about me. Wishing y'all the best of luck this November!
P.S: I have developed a potentially dangerous addiction to the adoption society. In the case that this addiction knocks me out of action, I have entrusted my novel into the capable hands/paws of my adoptees (some of which I'll admit to writing up and loving too much to let go off):
Mo is a penguin, so taking to the air isn't his specialty, but he's sweet, cuddly, and loves to squawk at you and give you a big hug to help produce ideas, and will follow you around like a waddling shadow! If you start ignoring him he'll get very sad and sulk in a corner until you realize you need inspiration again! He is especially useful if your story is water-centric, as he can soar through water with as much grace as an eagle in the sky! ~ Adopted from Ellfie. Currently residing in my home-made water park, to make up for the lack of large bodies of water in my current novel.
Henderson. He appeared on my desk today with a stern look on his face, but he refused to give me a good whack over the head when I started deleting things. He's more the passive aggressive type, so if stern looks and "Ahem"s are enough for you, he's be perfect. He's a little guy, no bigger than a pencil, with wavy golden hair and pale brown eyes. ~ Adopted/pocketed from R00's desk.
Meena is my beloved Wordcount dragon (and an OC I need to work on). She's the size of a Dalmatian and growing and purple from head to toe-claw, in line with her birth jewel, the amethyst. Equipped with lovely, delicate wings of lavender mist, she's flightless for the most part, but a fierce fighter with an endless amount of ah, tenacity, to match her emotion element: passion. In terms of my word-count, she is sung to a peaceful slumber when the melody of an exceeded word quota is played. When awake, she has an annoying tendency to nosey her way into every aspect of my life and meddle with it, most unintentionally but still causing me no end of pain. ~ Adopted from me, you can't have her! >C
Monsieur is dignified Chartreux Plot-Cat, born and bred in Paris of France. His golden eyes will watch you silently from his comfy basket. He is 0% fussy and 100% gentletom but there's just /something/ about that gaze of his that, when met with your own, will somehow intimidate you into looking through the few/many plans you had for your novel, making sure you're going the right track. Even in the face of romance and chicklit, his favourite genres (Paris IS the city of love, dear), his silent methods remain effective. Don't dare deny it. ~ Adopted from me, the closest I will ever get to my heart's desire: a Russian Blue cat irl all to my own.
Jaxie is a tiny dragon, one that loves to lay on your keyboard during the moments where you are pausing for more words. She enjoys tossing puffs of fire into the air and is generally cute and cuddly. If you get behind on your word count though, she becomes very feisty. She tends to burn anything she lands on until the words are flowing again. She is sure to help along the more timid NaNoer's as she wouldn't ever hurt a human, and doesn't want to mess up anything you are working on...just what it rests on. ~ Adopted from KikiBee23, shared most unwillingly and selfishly with other people.
