I was born and bred in the heart of the Ozarks. I'm an introvert but can be an extrovert when the occasion arises. I love to read, write, camp, ride bikes, walk, spend time with my family, surf the web and make people laugh.
I first heard about blogging through a geeky TV technology show and once I figured out how to set it up on my web space, I've been hooked ever since. I really enjoy reading other people's blogs and meeting so many interesting bloggers; I'm hoping I'll make a few good friends through this experience. (Be my friend?)
The first rule of writing is: "Always keep your audience in mind" and that's exactly what I do. My blog (http://writefromkaren.com) contains snippets of my life, my writing and (hopefully) useful information for other parents out there. If you stick around long enough, you'll notice I keep a certain "schedule" of sorts as far as what I post. I respect my family and friends and will never post anything derogatory or offensive (I hope).
