SynopsisAnnabell Falicity Howlet is a fiery eight year old who leads an exciting life with her older brother in the Canadian wilderness. That is, until a blood relation shows up who should have been dead a hundred years ago. After his appearance, Anna and her eighteen year old brother Wesley are brought from their home to the United States of America. There Anna and Wesley soon find how different life is in the busy streets of the city than their beloved home in Canada.
Excerpt“Kid, you had better keep what you see here to yourself.” He warned. Wesley gave him a vague nod. Then Logan took off his strange, eared hood, letting his mane of black hair and strait, arrow shaped nose show. Anna’s eyes bugged out of her head. She looked at the picture of her mother and father in the kitchen, then back at Logan. He looked… so much like her father. He had the same nose, the same blue eyes, though they were harder, and the same bristly hair. Wesley was also looking at him strangely.
“Wesley… he…” Anna said shakily, getting up and walking closer to Logan. He backed up a step, looking down at Anna with a confused scowl. Anna gazed up at this man who looked so much like the father she could only just remember. Her eyes widened until they couldn’t get any bigger. Then, in one quick moment, she screamed in the ear-piercing way only little girls can, turned and ran into the back rooms, slamming the door behind her.
