10 months agoNeed a word count boost? let our weekend events give you 16 hours of writing time! Saturday's noon to midnight Marathon write in of awesomeness at Hayden High School Library and Sunday's 1-5pm write in on the second floor of the library help you WRITE your novel. Details are on the calendar and in the forums!
11 months agoFor me, events make nanowrimo work. Without the accountability, and the interaction, and the time and place appearing on my calendar, I wouldn't prioritize my writing. In fact, I might not remember I was writing at all. Check our local events calendar below and try to attend an event this month! ~Lissa
11 months agoDozens of Topeka Wrimos turned out for the KICKOFF event on October 28th. If you didn't make it, handouts and stickers and other goodness will be available at all of our upcoming events!
11 months agoWe are putting the finishing touches on our KICKOFF event (Monday October 28th at 6:30 at the library). If you are a nano-newcomer, you'll get handouts and stickers and other fun stuff proven to help you write a novel in 30 days. If you are a previous winner, you will have a chance to share the tips and tricks that have helped you reach the 50,000 word finish line. And everyone will get nanowrimo giveaways and official swag!
