about 1 month agoCheck the calendar!!! Lots of events. Have one to add? Post it in the Write-In Annoucement Thread!
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to the Kick-Off!!! We had a great time, because we're awesome and that's what we do. There are two Meet & Greet events this week, one in Fort Worth hosted by ML Arones (Adrian/Aerii) on Monday 10/28 and one in Dallas on Halloween hosted by Deputy ML Misakyra (Cassy). I know lots of you couldn't make it Sunday because of work or driving or life, so if you feel left out please make it out to the Meet & Greets!
about 1 month agoHello Rhinos!
The calendar is filling up with write-ins and plan-ins and other fun events. The DFW Rhinos [Official] 2013 NaNoWriMo Kick-Off!!! will be Sunday, Oct. 27 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at Zio Carlo Magnolia Brew Pub in Fort Worth. Feel free to bring friends, and if you have to come late or leave early that's fine!! We want to see you even if it's just for a tiny bit.
Our friends up in Plano are also having a pretty nifty event on Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the Schimelpfenig Library. Local author Jaye Wells "will discuss the writing process and how to get started – because it doesn’t matter how you write, just that the book gets written!" Check out http://www.plano.gov/Calendar.aspx?EID=4405&month=10&year=2013&day=30&calType=0 for more info.
Meet your MLs
We're a stampede of awesome writerly writers! The DFW Rhinos rock the word wars and flex our muscles on writing sprints. Stay tuned for more shenanigans for the region!
