It's (almost) time!

Sunday Events: NKY 1-3 Highlander Coffee House. Hosted by hob, but I may not be there for all of it, as I'm still getting over an illness. But it's well worth your time to stop by: the antiques in the space are pure Gold as sources of inspiration. I'll at least drop by and leave some table tents and stickers for you to pick up.
Saturday Events: NKY Write in at Avenue Brew 10-1. I'll probably be a little late, but look for our table tents and my brown Nano shirt. I promise I'm not contagious at this point, so come say hi (or wave from afar.)

Thursday event: Write in at the Mason Public Library in Maysville, 4:30.

If you're having trouble starting today, think of this. All books are written one word, one scene at a time. Find something small and write about it. Maybe it will grow. Maybe it will be a seed for later. Either way, you are not wasting your time. Don't give up.

No scheduled events on the calendar, but I have got my chat room login straightened out. See the thread below for Wrimo instructions (MLs have a different set, so check the ML forum for that info.) Congrats to winners from this region! Which, by the way is All Of You. If you set out on this journey, Chris is right-- you won. You wrote something that would otherwise not have seen the light of day. You have something to edit later. And you know what amazing things you can do when you put your mind to it.

Check out TGIO thread and Life after Nano thread -what are your intentions now, novelists? And I know I speak for rickamburgey when I say how honored we have been to serve as your MLs for this year. You have been a fantastic region, and we are so thankful for your support, creativity and friendship. Keep in touch.
