You’ve swum your way through the Week 2 slump! Raise them flippers and applaud like a zellous seal.
You’ve earned it! Once you’ve properly congratulated yourself, shake out your fingers and get ready. We’re coming up on the halfway point!
Distractions are going to be that much more tempting now. You’ve been treading water for two weeks, surely you’ve earned a bit of goofing off, right? You have, but make sure to get your writing for the day done before jumping into the bubble bath and having some outside of writing kind of fun.
If you went off course on your goal, you can still catch up. Shovel out an extra 15 minutes for writing each day, and you’ll be caught up before you know it. If your navigation tells you that you're on course, go you! And if you’re one of the sailfish that are ahead, don’t slack off. No matter where you are relative to your goal, you’re still writing and getting words on paper, and that’s shelltastic!
News from the Wrimoverse
If you’re still looking for a great way to fish out more words, take part in the Wrimoverse Word Crawl [link to your regional crawl thread]. It’s a fun way to explore the ships, find new challenges and get those words written.
Now is also your last chance to take theS.T.A.R.S. before registration closes! If you’ve already taken your S.T.A.R.S. then head on over to theShips and peruse their crew liststo find out what ship you’ll be serving on as a new cadet!
And, of course, remember tolog those points! Everyone wants to win theShip Cup. Help your ship earn more points and don’t forget to check every now and again and see who’s ahead!
If you need a break from all that writing, you can always catch up on the story in theCaptain's’ Log or send outKudos to someone who helped you out!
Keep writing! The month is half done!
